Professional Development
KC IABC Professional Development events are designed for marketing and communications professionals who value continuous learning and practical insights.
These sessions feature respected industry leaders and create space for meaningful discussion, networking, and real world takeaways that can be applied immediately. Topics span internal and external communications, leadership, strategy, and emerging trends.
Professional Development events take place monthly on the second Wednesday of each month and are structured to fit into busy schedules, whether held in the morning, over lunch, or in the evening.
Coffee Chats
Personal development is just as important as professional development — and the two are interdependent. KCIABC’s Coffee Chats are designed to support your personal growth and well-being, helping you become the professional and person you aspire to be.
Coffee Chats are informal, conversation-based gatherings open to everyone — at any stage in your career, and whether you are a member or non-member. Join us to share ideas, learn from others, and build meaningful professional relationships.
Masters
The KC IABC Masters Group provides a forum for senior communicators to discuss advanced communication topics and network with peers in an informal, roundtable setting.
The Masters Group meets over dinner five times a year. Attendees typically have 10+ years in the profession, work with C-suite staff, or have served on the chapter, district or international board.
